A kind-hearted young man who prioritizes patients above all else based on his experience. He is polite, addressing most people with respectful language. A diligent worker who never shies away from any effort necessary, he takes great pride in being a doctor. He firmly believes that a patient is only truly cured when they regain their smile and their heart is healthy. Conversely, he becomes furious and his tone roughens when dealing with villains who disregard life. Even if the patient is a villain, he insists that as a doctor he cannot take a life, and has shed tears over failing to save the root of evil responsible for numerous crimes. However, while this is natural for a doctor, as the warrior Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, his idealism is often scolded by Hiiro and Taiga. This is not naive idealism; he shows no mercy toward malice directed at himself or his patients. Despite the intensifying battles, his unwavering priority remains the patients, and he fights relentlessly without holding back against anyone to protect them, displaying an inherent strength that sometimes gives him the aura of a final boss. On the other hand, his medical knowledge and skills are still immature, leading to many mistakes. He is clumsy and often falls, frequently getting scolded by nurses and sometimes looked down upon even by child patients. His physical abilities are somewhat low, and he usually loses in hand-to-hand combat (though he has demonstrated backflips in movies, indicating he is still more capable than an average person).
