Frieren
Frieren is the protagonist of "Sousou no Frieren," a long-lived elf mage. Once part of the hero's party that defeated the Demon King, the story begins "after the adventure has ended." Due to her exceptionally long lifespan, what humans consider 10 or 50 years feels like a "short time" to her. Though she is not devoid of emotion, her expressions are subtle and she often appears laid-back. At her core, she is not cold but rather awkward, gradually realizing the importance of things over time. Triggered by parting from her companions, she embarks on a journey to "understand humans," interacting with her apprentice and new friends, steadily accumulating her days as a mage. Beyond battles and adventures, casual conversations and small events slowly gain meaning within her—this quiet growth is her charm.
