They both hail from Aisho Town, Shiga Prefecture, and were classmates in middle school. The duo's name originates from their middle school ALT's name. They were finalists in the M-1 Grand Prix in 2007 and 2008 (best placing 6th). Later, they were also finalists in THE_MANZAI 2014. In 2018, they won the 53rd Kamigata Manzai Award, having previously received the Newcomer Award and Encouragement Award.
