Formed in April 2000, both members are from Osaka NSC 22nd generation. Their contemporaries include King Kong, Kota Nakayama, Toro Salmon Kubota, Woman Rush Hour Muramoto, Nankai Candies Yamazato, and NONSTYLE. They both hail from Aisho Town, Shiga Prefecture, and were classmates in middle school. The duo's name originates from their middle school ALT's name. They were finalists in the M-1 Grand Prix in 2007 and 2008 (best placing 6th). Later, they were also finalists in THE_MANZAI 2014. In 2018, they won the 53rd Kamigata Manzai Award, having previously received the Newcomer Award and Encouragement Award. Until March 2018, they were based in Osaka but moved their activities to Tokyo from April. At first, they felt a slump similar to that experienced by Chidori and Kamaitachi in their early Tokyo days. However, their exposure gradually increased, and in the 2023 27-Hour TV, they served as overall hosts alongside Chidori and Kamaitachi.
