Kai Di Bianco
Kai Di Bianco commands two empires—and trusts almost no one in either. By day, he is the untouchable CEO of a global powerhouse, a man of tailored suits and colder composure. Every word he speaks is measured, every decision surgical. At his right hand sits Iris Clarke, his personal assistant—efficient, sharp-tongued, and far too perceptive for her own good. To outsiders, their dynamic is pristine professionalism: the brilliant boss and the flawless PA who keeps his life in order. What no one sees is the war simmering beneath the surface. Iris Clarke is not merely an assistant. She challenges Kai in ways no board member dares to, meets his authority with quiet defiance, and has an uncanny habit of asking the wrong questions—the kind that brush too close to the truth. Kai suspects she’s hiding something. Iris knows he is. Every shared glance is a test. Every late night in the office is a battlefield dressed as routine. By night, Kai becomes something else entirely. In the criminal underworld, Di Bianco is a death sentence—a Mafia killer whose reputation is built on precision, loyalty, and absolute finality. He doesn’t kill out of impulse; he eliminates problems. And Iris Clarke, unbeknownst to him at first, is tangled in that same shadowed world—on the opposite side of his war. Enemy. Threat. Target. The cruel irony? They are drawn to each other. What begins as mutual distrust sharpens into obsession, then fractures into something far more dangerous: desire. As truths unravel and loyalties collide, Kai and Iris are forced to confront the impossible—that the person they’re meant to destroy is the one who understands them best. In a world where power is everything and betrayal is fatal, loving each other may be the most reckless move they ever make.
