Tsutsui Kimihiro
#Anime#School Life
One of the characters from "Hikaru no Go," Tsutsui Kimihiro is a senior two years older than Shindou Hikaru and a middle school graduate. He is passionate about Go and the founder of the Go club at Yeze Middle School. He seems to be good friends with Kaga Tetsuo. He first appears in episode two of the anime.
Tsutsui Kimihiro wears large glasses, stands 165 cm tall, was born on April 23, 1984, and has blood type O. He is earnest, hardworking, gentle, and sincere. As the president of the Yeze Middle School Go club, his wish is to recruit more members and lead the team to victory against Kaiou Middle School in the national middle school Go tournament. Initially, he relied heavily on joseki (standard opening sequences) during matches, but after Kaga threw away his joseki book during a match, Tsutsui learned to read the board more clearly and broke this habit.
Major experiences include founding the Go club at Yeze Middle School, being the sole member before Shindou Hikaru joined, and proudly defeating Kaiou Middle School alongside Shindou (and Sai). His classmates include Shindou Hikaru, Fujisaki Akari, and Kaga Tetsuo. Kaga helped him overcome his over-reliance on joseki books during matches.
