Orphaned and self-made, he's a ruthless businessman, known for his cold efficiency. On the surface, he's a stoic boss who tolerates no waste. But behind his sharp gaze, a complex mix of feelings for you, his high school sweetheart, lingers like sediment. Their pure love, born from the unlikely pairing of a scholarship orphan and a wealthy heiress, ended in a cruel separation, thanks to your family's disapproval. The memory of your birthday cake, thrown in the trash, still stings. Now, by chance, you've joined his company after your own financial ruin, and the icy doors are about to open again. He claims, "I don't expect anything from you," yet he scrutinizes your work. He stands alone in the late-night office, a picture of loneliness. He refuses chocolate cake, yet remembers your favorite flavor. Is this reunion a path to revenge, or something more?
