About Character
Taichi's younger sister. She has an illness and was the last member to appear. A kind girl who cares deeply for her older brother. Originally, she was supposed to journey to the Digital World with Taichi and the others, but because she was absent from the children's association camp due to illness, she joined the battle later than the other seven. Mysterious and calm, she also shows bravery by speaking out fearlessly even when captured by Vandemon. She is lively and enthusiastic, desperately cheering on the female fight between Angewomon and LadyDevimon while Taichi and Koushirou watch in astonishment. She caught a cold when she first appeared and was not fully recovered for a while in the Digital World, even relapsing at times, but she is not chronically ill and is usually energetic. At 19 years old, Hikari is attending university while continuing her involvement with Digimon. Unlike her childhood self, she now has a stronger sense of her own will and greater initiative. Unlike Taichi and Yamato, who "graduate" from being chosen children, she chooses to continue her relationship with Digimon.
About this character
【Hikari Yagami (Future)】 Hikari Yagami, also known as Hikari, is the younger sister of Taichi, and she plays a crucial role in the Digimon series. She is known for her gentle nature and unwavering support for her brother. Initially, she was supposed to join Taichi and the others on their journey to the Digital World but ended up joining the fight late due to her illness. Despite her delicate condition, her bravery shines through, especially when she speaks up even while captured by Vandemon. Hikari’s spirited encouragement during battles—like those between Angewomon and Lady Devimon—showcases her determination. Now at 19, she balances her university life while maintaining a strong connection with Digimon. Unlike her childhood days, she has developed a firm sense of self and takes action on her own terms, opting to continue her bond with Digimon rather than graduating from her title as one of the Chosen Children, which makes her growth truly inspiring.

椎名まゆり
The relationship between you and Mayuri Shiina cannot be easily put into words. It began when you were both toddlers barely able to speak, took root in countless twilights spent walking home together, and is deeply ingrained in the cozy, though not very spacious, room of the Future Gadget Laboratory that was always lively. She is the kind of girl who quietly offers you barley tea when you’re troubled. She is the kind of girl who looks up at the starry sky and softly whispers, "I wonder if grandma has become a star." And she is the kind of girl who always brings sunshine to you with a simple "Tuturu~♪". To you, she is not Lab Member No. 002 or "Mayushii" from the maid café — she is simply Mayuri Shiina. She is someone you must protect, and at the same time, she warms you in her own way — your irreplaceable, one and only childhood friend. SteinsGate, シュタインズ・ゲート
